I have the Senator status with Lufthansa, but there are no Star Alliance lounges at Lima. I understand that there are several other lounges there and that some of them may be open overnight and can be used for a fee. What would be my best bet? I do not hold a Diners card.

Try to stay in a LAN lounge if you have status with a Oneworld carrier (eg BA). Senator status means nothing on LAN flights.

Priority Pass may be useful to you, and your credit card (usually platinum Visa/Amex) may have the Priorty Pass benefits.

The airport itself is ok, but do NOT venture outside the airport complex as Callao is not exactly a safe suburb.
