Depends on what you are using it for. I bought cheap art to decorate 'cause it fit what we were looking for. Spending $1,000 (or $30,000) for something that the auctioneer told us was invaluable, however, was out of the question. Some people get lured in, though, when they are told they are getting such a great deal.
