The thing that annoys me is that it wasn't cheap either. €98 per night whereas another local hotel was around €70 per night with the same facilities. Chose HI as they are my usual brand and I thought there would be lots of points for such as stay (which could then be used on a PointsBreak to give another 7 free nights). I have received points for this rate at least 5 times in the past.

Who should I contact regarding this? I've tried the customer services but was just sent a standard reply. I am currently a Gold member but this stay would have put me into Platinum.
