About a year ago, late at night some mugging occured on the MGM grounds, near Tropicana avenue...I was staying at mgm that weekend, but only found out about it on the local tv station later that day, I forgot the details--does someone remember this?
I'm sure there are isolated incidents, but obviously if you can't/don't feel safe at the MGM Grand, you should probably avoid Vegas altogether. There's some risk no matter where you go.
