Unlikely. The conditions specify an add/collect for fare difference, so you have to meet all new terms/conditions.
MAYBE if you were already on the trip and changed the return it would work, but I sure wouldn't try that taking the chance that there'd be an $xxxx add/collect or else an unexpected 6 day stay!
