Question Orbitz - DL flights booked on UA ticket stock??
I booked a flight on Orbitz a couple of days ago (they had the best price). The outbound portion was on UA and the return portion on DL. The entire trip was issued on UA ticket stock and the full cost was charged to my credit card as "United Airlines". For anyone that may have done something like this before, is this possible? I thought that only partners could book flights on each other's ticket stock. Since UA and DL don't have any relationship, how can a DL flight be booked on 016 (UA) stock?
