Well I tried to use this new feature tonight. I was booking a seat sale fare for travel in November. I was surprised to see the only seats available on all YVR to YYZ flights on my preferred travel date were from row 16 to the rear of the aircraft. This seemed a bit odd so I called the Westjet Super Sales Centre and was told these are the only seats available for guests purchasing a seat sale fare. When we are being charged for advance seat selection, this seems like a pretty poor policy to me.

However no problem, AC is offering the same fare, so I just booked with them.
