It seems fairly black and white to me.

There was also an option to Increase flexibility from £2885*

Do you need to be able to change your travel plans?
Why not increase the flexibility of your ticket?
As said, this ticket was TA booked so I didn't see those options.

I think you possibly mis-understood what I was asking, or perhaps I phrased it incorrectly. I fully understand the fare rules: what I really want to know, was if anyone has managed to get a non-changeable ticket changed, and if so, in what circumstances they did it.
