BA or BA agents (Aviance at EDI) are becoming even less flex, even when they suffer financial loss!!! Last week, I flew from the scottish isles to EDI where flights were delayed because of weather in London... The London shuttle was not busy but would they let me travel?... No. Only hand baggage... Ended up on the prime 18.30 flight, delayed by 1.30 mins, flight was full with people on stand-by... had to wait four hours in the lounge guzzling wine and sandwiches.... computer says no.... Aviance says no... profits take a further hit!!!
