BOM sure is a bigger market than BLR, but your oblivion to the current clout BLR has in aviation circles is unwarranted for. but for the feed BOM gets from pune, gujarat, MP, rajasthan, goa, which BLR doesnt, BOM ends up only notches ahead of BLR which is predominantly an O/D airport.
