I guess this is the first of a few days where they do this - the checkin agents at YYC this morning couldn't figure out how I got an exit row online without paying. I think she was confused whether I had pre-paid or just online checkin.

Hopefully cheapskates rule and won't pay up for the exit row - I loved how Westjet let you select exits at online checkin, unlike Air Canada where you had to ask at the airport. Significant disadvantage to WS now in my mind, unfortunately.
