Ah, The Sweeney, now you're talking. Those were the days when you really could call a spade a spade on the telly and get away with with it!

Minder was another great show which would overstep the mark. Nowadays if you watch the repeats on some of the Sky channels they will replace the socially incorrect word with a beep!

How times have changed but, has it been for the better?
