This is probably stating the obvious, but just in case...be aware that holding your
reservation for 24 hours
does not guarantee the
price for 24 hours...this is most often an issue when you are crossing over one of those traditional xx-day advance purchase thresholds. Always read the fare rules when you hold a reservation to have some reasonable assurance it won't re-price while you have it on hold. Even then, you could get bit...although sometimes it will work to your advantage, usually it won't.
