I understand what you are trying to say, but this does not make sense to me in this case. If what you said is true, then why can't TG just fly directly from BKK to ICN, why bother to stop at TPE? (especially if they can't carry any other passengers at TPE)

UA used to fly SFO-NGO-TPE. Passengers can still get on NGO and fly to TPE even though UA is a third country airliner, right? Also, UA is going to restore USA-NRT-TPE, does that mean they can't carry new passengers from NRT to TPE?
