In theory it is possible to become Platinum without ever even becoming Gold. If you fly 19,999 miles every two years for 101 years.
That's why I mentioned that. How can it be that according to Brahms77's understanding that one could get Platinum before (and actually never even qualifying for) Diamond Plus. It doesn't make sense to make such a system. I agree that your (same as my) interpretation is correct according to what OZ has published on their website. We'll have to wait to hear from OZ if the information on their website is wrong or if what Brahms77 heard is wrong.
