Probably too late, but if you haven't already bought the Bjorn. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the KidCo Peapod (a website is
here - we have the most basic model). We hauled around a Pack-n-Play for our first born, and the Bjorn one for one of our nieces - both units are nice, but for super-portability, the Peapod can't be beat (we have used this for all of our travels with our second child). You don't even need to take the handpump along - it takes about 3 minutes to blow up the mattress. The folding mechanism is a little tricky at first, but it's similar to a grown-up tent, and I was able to do it with no problems after about the 3rd time or so. It weighs almost nothing, and can even be stuffed inside a suitcase. We've had ours for close to 2 years now (I think we paid around $70 for it back then), and it is still in great shape.
