The fan is a 12" desk fan; it disassembles into pieces. I'm concerned that the fan blade (12"), though plastic and not sharp, might be confiscated since it will be separate from the motor (leaving the fan rather useless)! Is there any way to get at least a definitite TSA "ruling" in advance of my travel?
