I second what Lori_Q suggesting, first award ticket do XXX-BKK-SIN-XXX (I think LAX is the best option if available since TG serve LAX-BKK and SQ serve LAX-SIN direct) and get a second award (30k intra-asia NC) or buy a cheap ticket between SIN-MNL.
