Hyakushaku-Kannon
Which is a Bodhisattva/Bosatsu of mercy/compassion and not a Buddha at all.
I'm surprised that a figure of Kannon is supposed be associated with road safety, I thought that responsibility was with the Dousojin and Jizo deities. I'll take that information with a pinch of salt.
