BTW - the part where Hammond is looking for a vending machine on the Yokohama - Kurihama train (probably at Ofuna) is almost certainly guff. Some trains do have them, but I can't imagine that that one did. It was just a ploy to heighten the (ahem!) dramatic tension.

Those crab snacks Clarkson was eating looked really good though.

And I've learnt about Nokogiri Yama thanks to Top Gear. Never thought I'd say something like this. It looks beautiful, should make a wonderful day trip from Tokyo (or even Narita - about 2 hours, can be combined with a stay at the nearby Kicho hotel, an hour and a half away from NRT), and it seems to have never been mentioned in this forum before.
