A more disturbing trend I see now is for the maids NOT to replace any of the 4 bottles (shampoo, conditioner, lotion and mouthwash) on a daily basis.

This bothers me because now she is making assumptions as to the number of showers I take (often I workout after work) and how many people are staying in the room (hey, I'm always dreaming of getting lucky).

Granted, most of the bottles can be stretched but the mouthwash quanity is barely enough for one use. This means instant no tip. I can't believe its a policy but happens enough so I would imagine it is. And don't tell me to call housekeeping or leave a note - its so basic it doesn't warrant a second thought.
