Thanks--I'm happy to give Amex the percent of the purchase price in addition to the $170 that my platinum card costs as they made the reservation and got me the benefits, but I'd just prefer to not have to put it on the plat card itself (vs. one of the Amex's that I actually get the bill for). It seems to me that it's not a plat perk but a FHR perk that plat gives me access to--am I getting that right?
