If I decide that I want to have Kobe, I would order it in the form of a steak, at a fine steakhouse and get Japanese kobe. However, I usually have an appetite for filet mignon, ribeye or porterhouse (if at Wolfgangs or Lugers). Like you, I could not order a burger at places like Lugers or Del Friscos (love their ribeye though!). Your tastes may vary as may mine but the long lines at the shack speak for itself. I also like Corner Bistro and In-n-Out. Now that you know more about my tastes, I'll say it again - SHAKE SHACK!

i felt the same (wouldn't pay a premium for the kobe burger at blt burger). but then i gave in. it costs more but it's not that expensive. try it, then let us know what you think.
there are long lines at the welfare office, in the unemployment line, and the clerk's office at the courthouse at 111 centre street. if only long lines meant great product....
