Air France said this should not be a problem... what about TSA?? isn't that a different check and might they give me problems?? I have two last names butI only use one of them on plane ticket, drivers license and green card (the other as a middle name showing as initial) but the two last name show as last name on my passport. I thought this along might be an issue. I would hate the added missed letter might raise some brows.

Thanks for understanding my paranoia.
Welcome to FT.

It should not be a problem. Enjoy your trip. Just make sure the airline rep is able to pull up your record with your record locator (if you can't check-in online, as may be the case for the reason I mention in passing below).

With regard to the TSA, they might not even notice -- and worst case if they notice is they will want to push to validate that you are who you say you are and/or send you for an additional (manual) search of your person/belongings before allowing you to go on your way. [Some foreign passports -- your country of origin sounds like it may be one of those -- are routinely selected for this kind of search anyway, even without a "name" issue.] Enjoy your trip without any further concern about this "name" matter.
