i had in-n-out for the first time last year in california and i did like it. but agreed, it doesn't hold a candle to blt burger (for me) or the other ones others voted for, i would imagine.

i would be afraid to order a burger at peter luger's unless i went a lot. i feel like i have to get a steak when i go there, just because. after working for years in the mcgraw hill building - which meant we were at del frisco's (in the building) on too many occasions to count - i finally got a burger there. and it was pretty damn good. bottom line though: even when i went back, i couldn't bring myself to order it - i feel compelled to get filet mignon.
