Just an aside -- we don't know that it wasn't in the record all along. Obviously, this agent was a bit "challenged" when it comes to procedures. I have had codeshare/partner BPs print out that didn't include my mileage number on it and the miles still posted just fine. Besides, mileage postings like this are relatively easy to rectify after the fact. It could be that everything is as it is supposed to be.

I think the OP had expectations for things that simply weren't part of the package. That's why the characterization of a the codeshare partnership being a "joke" is (quite) a bit over the top.
