whenever I have flown a codeshare flight I have never been given a boarding pass for the codeshare flight number - it has always been the operating carriers number
as to whether you will receive miles that surely depends on whether these codeshare flights are eligible for miles - have you actually checked with AA or have you just assumed that codeshare partner =mileage partner which is not necessarily the case
