I'm pretty sure you'll be fine - this happens more than you might realise (hang out on FT more (and we hope you do!), and you'll see it is a pretty common occurrence and kered's post is the first time I've seen major problems reported.

And my discrepancy was way more than allowed by IATA - not a problem.
