Imagine the lines and every idiot with a pocket knife crying "But I'm not getting on the plane!".
If the screening process did not stupidly harass people instead on only making sure they had no guns or bombs, there would be ample time to screen as many people as wanted to go airside.

This means:
  • No BP check
  • No ID check
  • No Shoe Carnival
  • No Liquids Stupidity
  • Pocket knives OK
  • List of so-called prohibited items drastically shortened

It is the TSA's fault that the "security" checkpoint is a chokepoint. They are a complete, un-American disgrace.
