I'm in a similar situation. Traveling in 2.5 weeks from the US to the middle east (that's the scary part) and back after one month. The TA missed one vowel off my last name. It does not even change the way you say the name since it is an "o" of an "ou" combination. Everybody (TA, airlines, people) say it is ok but I cannot help but stress out since this my first trip outside the US since I came here 14 years ago and the first with my green card which I just obtained recently...

It would be really nice if some of the original posters wether here or from other threads that came here and asked similar questions could come back and post what actually happened in thier cases.

Also, the more first hand accounts the better I will feel about it.
