Odd thing is, this didn't happen to other BA flights we've been on or about to fly. And the secondary screening, as it was, was the most benign I've witnessed (not complaining about that!).

Thankfully, seat assignments perfectly OK.

Good news and thanks for coming back and letting us know the reason for the problem with the BP. Always good to have an explanation for these things.
