I have found that delays of this sort used to be
very common over the last year or so but they had become much more responsive of late.
I have called them directly in the past and the phone rates were not too bad. I use a prepaid service,
www.onesuite.com, whose rate from the US to Singapore is two cents/minute, cheaper than for domestic US calls!
