It was during the speech that they mentioned that they would definiately be putting a club check into T5. Granted good point that GGL's are unlikely to be interested - it was my partner who is a silver who was listening!!!

I had a good chat to a few people - the woman in charge of Marketing, who seemed very nice but did admit it had been a challenging year from her side with a lot of replanning! What my biggest take away from evening was an acknowledgment that yes T5 final transitions is important, yes new fleet important, yes new first, yes new routes, but the oil price and global financial pressures are have such an impact on the airline industry overall it gona be a rocky ride (and the not just on 767s!).

Final point I do concure that it was excellent champagne - probably a little to free flowing for me yesterday at 6am - I have asked a friend who works in house of commons to find out if he can.
