A little off topic, but has anyone heard of Dr. Pepper made with cane sugar instead of corn syrup? A friend who lived in TX for a time said that Dr. P originated down there and this is the original recipe. He said that you can still buy it that way down in TX, but nowhere else. Anyone else heard of it?
I've seen this at Galco's too and tried it. It is definitely heavier and less carbonated than the regular Dr Pepper, but it really has the full flavor. I'd prefer more carbonation though,
