not sure if amex FHR or virtuoso (see sticky for details) will upgrade from 1BR to chairman suite if available. might be worth checking and/or booking for regular amenities even if they dont.

you might also consider a first class private cabin on the NRT express train. my understanding is traffic can be extremely bad sometimes.
