The highlight of a lovely sunny afternoon was while we were standing on the terrace by the Thames and we saw a Concorde heading towards us and banking to the left to line up for landing at LHR. Everybody stopped talking and looked up to admire a grand sight.
I was at that one with SWMBO! Great evening, I (vaguely) remember making our way back to Waterloo to catch the train having consumed far too much champagne
