This brings back some happy memories when I went to one of those events. I think it coincided with Chris Nicholson’s retirement, anyway there was a good turnout from BA’s top brass and I know Chris was there. The highlight of a lovely sunny afternoon was while we were standing on the terrace by the Thames and we saw a Concorde heading towards us and banking to the left to line up for landing at LHR. Everybody stopped talking and looked up to admire a grand sight.
