Expedia is having a 48-hour sale at the Silverton Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas (it's just south of the airport. Adjacent to 1-15. About 5-10 minutes south of the south end of the main strip area) today, Thursday and Friday. Various rates - some lower than the one posted below - but all are 1/2 that of Vegas.com. I checked only July and August and most dates were good to invoke the Double the Difference including some weekend dates.

Example: August 25 + August 26 (2 nights). Vegas.com $68.99 per night. Expedia.com $34.50. Double the Difference $68.98. Final cost .01 per night plus taxes based on Vegas.com price.

Make sure you don't exceed $150 in "Double the Difference" per claim for whatever series of nights you may claim. For this two night stay, it would be $137.96. Total cost .02 + taxes. I don't know if Silverton has a resort fee but I know they charge for high speed. Hotel gets very good customer reviews. I was in the casino 2 weeks ago. It's small but they have a large construction project just underway (more rooms, larger casino, more restaurants, hotel garage).
