Thanks heaps all, very helpful.

I know it'll be uncomfortable but I'm looking at this stage leaving the airport with my bags checked through to Quito (very happy I can do that) and killing time in the city. Get back to the airport around midnight and check myself through as soon as possible.

I'd love to stay in the lounge but $144 is just a tad much. Looks like I'm going to have to travel sleep deprived

On the question of nationality, I have both Australian and Uruguayan passports. The Uruguayan one serves me here as I can enter free without a paper.

Any other suggestions would be very welcome though.
