I travel with an Air Boss a lot in Europe and I think it is fantastic. It is quite big - but that is why I got it, not for overnight stays, but when I travel for 4 or 5 days and can't afford the risk or hassle of checking a bag. It is not ideal for an overnight stay, unless you have a lot of extra stuff to stick in - so I have other bags for short trips.
Given the tighter European restrictions, I have recently downgraded from a 22 to a 20" expandable Tumi carryon. When in Europe, I frequent the likes of Ryanair and Easyjet who charge for carryon luggage and have strict restriction (well who doesn't now a days). Thus the 20" rollerboard fit me well. However, I realized the Tumi does not have a lot of space and is quiet heavy even when empty. Thus I am in the market for something a bit different that will provide more space while retaining the small size.
I am now not concerned as much for Air Boss reliability, quality, and functionality as I am about how it will fare with the LCC in Europe. If no questions asked as carry on London Stansted and other airports, I am sold. US carry on restriction, IMHO, in terms of size and dimensions are quiet generous compared to intra-European (especially LCC) restrictions. I have never had an instance in the US for someone to stop me and measure my carryon luggage weight, whereas in Europe it seems almost unavoidable. I just want to ensure that Air Boss will satisfy my requirements on both sides of the pond. ^

I have different kind of packing bags (i.e. Eagle Creek, some french brand, LL Bean) and found that Ziplock Air Tight bags work the best. They actually do compress and save space whereas regular packing bags end up taking more space (constraint on how much you can fit in them based on their size).
I lost a bra, a BRA! to the TSA! Creepy!
