You might find the new Holiday Inn just steps away when you exit the terminal more comfortable than an all nighter at the Pacific VIP Club.

Also, what airlines are you flying? You must check to see if there is an interline agreement between the two or checking your bags through is a no go and you will have to clear immigrations and customs and exit land side into the terminal. This would make the hotel even a better option if you are stuck with your bags. Depending on the airline, the check in counter may not be open if they handle only a couple of flights out per day and you get there outside of the three or so hours before those flights go out.
