The international side must be open 24 hours because the Pacific Club lounge is. Most everything shuts down at about 11pm. The Pacific Club lounge (per the Priority Pass website) says 24 hours - I'd camp out there, and pay the CL$10.000 or whatever the current fee is. If you "enter" Chile by going through immigration and you don't have a Chile entry fee receipt in your passport, you will pay approx. $130 to enter.
Just make sure your baggage is properly tagged to Quito when you check in @ MVD. If you are on 2 separate tickets, make sure you have all the info when you check in @ MVD.
Ok thanks - so that means I will be able to tag my baggage through to Quito despite the gaps in my flights?
And I dont think I pay the entry fee because I have a Uruguayan passport. Correct no?
