Maybe not but it can't hurt, worst case you're back where you started.

Worth mentioning that when I tried to cancel a Dell order through the BA site I was told that I was a "business customer" and had no rights to cancel.

In the end I got them to see sense and I got the miles too (4x1012, nice).
