That comment can only be valid in the middle two seats of row 1. If you touched the bulkhead from 1AC or 1HK, you'd be bigger than 5'11!

If travelling solo and not bothered about IFE on the screens and happy with handheld. I would go 1A or 1K. Front row, window seats and loads of room so you can get into the aisle without disturbing your neighbour.
