I used BadCopy from JuSoft a while back and it was quite functional. I just dug out my receipt for it and apparently I bought the old version so my license code doesn't work any more, and I cannot find the installer for the version I bought. I'm happy to give you my license and you can get half off the upgrade if you want. PM me.

The trial version will tell you if it can find files and will recover a few just to prove it, IIRC.
