I've been amazed that even prepaid phones that market in both countries don't seem to have roaming, (7-11, Virgin, and the former AMPS). TMobile roams in Canada. I think Boost (certainly not a solution on this trib) does, but not many. Rogers works in the US, but a extortionate rates.
