Generally they do.

Last year I had an A class LAX-HNL segment that did not correctly post as "First" - the immediately previous segment from the same booking did post correctly.

While it did post, for some reason, it posted as Full WHY an initial deprivation of 67% of the expected SC's. An email with an attached image of the BP fixed that up though.
