Mom Was WRONG!!! finally
So most of us had a Mom that told us things never to do. I have always found these "suggestions" well founded, but NOW,
"Don't put a plastic bag over your head" is very iffy.
Leaving the grocery store today it was pouring (strange for Downey, near Los Angeles). It was not raining when I left home, so naturally, no umbrella. I saw some people holding a plastic bag over there heads, so I ripped one slightly up the side, put over my head and tied the handles under my chin. WOW, it worked well.
The more I thought about this the better it seemed for an emergency rain hat on the road. Anyone else doing this?
