Early May, sometime just before my EWR-ORD flight May 15. At that point both TSA and gate staff were clueless. I've used it a few times since, and while things are getting better they have a ways to go.

Yes indeedy...they are saving the world one piece of easily-forged piece of paper at a time. Each time I go through with the pda BP I get different a different response from the TSA, although cluelessness is the overwhelming undercurrent.

It is if you're not by a printer in the 24hrs prior to your flight. I like having this option for those times, and yes I use it even when I could have easily printed a paper BP. I can lose a piece of paper, but you'll have to pry the BB from my cold dead hands. Not to mention it saves time, trees, and it's cool to be an early adopter of techno advances.
