UA to Nix Venezuela Flights

In a move that United Airlines claims is due to low demand and financial shortcomings, the carrier plans to suspend all flights to Venezuela starting next month. The Latin American nation has gone through nearly two months of political unrest, including protests and the severe reduction of food and medicine imported into the country.
